Hawaii Superferry officials recently announced that they were going to hold off sailing its second ship with service to the Big Island due to the current economic situation. By not getting the new ship it will save the company around $10 million in startup cost.

Mesa Air Group Inc., parent company of Hawaii interisland carrier Go!, filed its fourth lawsuit involving an isle airline or industry employee since entering the Hawaii market in June 2006. Mesa filed the lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Arizona on Monday against Mokulele Airlines, claiming the airlines has failed to pay nearly $400,000 in fuel expenses [...]
